North Albany secured their third straight victory with a resounding 24-point victory over Albany Raiders in round six of the Albany Basketball Association men’s A-grade competition on Tuesday night.

Beauden East (14 points) shot lights out from the perimeter, sinking four triples.

Raiders’ Marley Cox played a lone hand on offence for his side with 16 points courtesy of two threes.

Barking Owls maintained their undefeated run to start the season taking their sixth straight victory with a 20-point win over Denmark Magpies.

Talented young guard Harry Watters was at his prolific best with a game-high 26 points and hit three baskets from beyond the arc.

He was partnered superbly by fellow shooter Evan Delbene who contributed 15 points in the dominant 77-57 win.

In the final match of the round, last season’s most valuable player Mark Elentorio led Sonics to a brilliant 61-38 victory.

Elentorio hit two threes and banked 20 points in the destructive win, while David Arthur (12 points) and Kayden Collins were also dialled in from long range combing for three triples.

Ambassadors were best served by Todd Knuiman who was there only double-figure scorer with 14 points.
