Lucy Murray and Matt Flanagan, both 30

When Lucy first met Matt, he handed her a clipboard to sign up for a Brisbane wakeboarding club.

Little did either of them know, they would actually be signing up for a life together.

When their special day came around, Lucy and Matt couldn’t help but feel immensely grateful for their guests who had travelled far and wide to attend.

The food at their reception was a true reflection of WA’s breathtaking south coast, the menu including Denmark marron, Albany snapper and Forest Hill wines.

The celebration of the pair’s love was more than just a day. They had booked all of the cottages at William Bay and stayed there with 25 close family and friends for three days.

When and where

Attire

The bride wore a custom-made dress by Perth designer Lynette Toorie at Brides by Design in Mt Lawley, and the groom donned a suit by InStitchu.

Honeymoon

The lovebirds are jetting off to Mexico later this year for a honeymoon brimming with sand, sun, surf and margaritas.
