Australian man dies at Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar after falling unconscious
An Australian man has died in Bali after falling unconscious at Denpasar’s Ngurah Rai Airport.
It is believed the man fainted in the international arrivals area just before 12pm on Wednesday, Daily Mail Australia is reporting.
Airport police spokesperson Nyoman Darsana told Daily Mail Australia that emergency services rushed to his aid.
“‘Several minutes later, two medical teams from the agency arrived. They tried to save the victim by giving CPR,” Darsana said.
The man was transported to BIMC Hospital but couldn’t be saved.
The victim is the fourth Australian to die in Bali in just three weeks.
Thomas James Cossins, 30, died on August 30 after crashing his motorbike — reportedly at high speed while going around a curve — during a holiday with his fiance.

A week before, Perth tradie Shane Ramsay also succumbed to his injuries after a scooter crash.
The 30-year-old from Clarkson was in Bali celebrating a friend’s wedding when he crashed his scooter and suffered a fractured skull, severe brain damage and bleeding in his lungs.
His family were able to raise enough money to bring him home on an emergency flight but he later died at Royal Perth Hospital.
An Australian woman died on Saturday during a diving trip in Nusa Penida, a small island southeast of Bali.
The woman became short of breath after her dive and fell unconscious on the boat.
She was rushed to hospital but could not be saved.
