Students will have the chance to win their school a share of $25,000 by collecting coupons in Saturday editions of The West Australian over the next four weeks.

The partnership with the Resources Technology Showcase 2021 offers schools the chance to create new opportunities for STEM education through a funding boost.

Beeliar Primary School principal Louise O’Donovan said: “We are excited by this opportunity to win a cash prize to increase our STEM resources for Early Childhood students, like Osmo, Blue-Bot and Cubetto robots. We would also invest in digital safety resources and cyber safety for our students.”

All a school needs to do for their chance to win is collect as many STEM Classroom Cash coupons as possible, and register at thewest.com.au/classroomcash for bonus coupons. The coupons will be in The West Australian every Saturday for four weeks, starting today.

Schools have the chance of winning up to $5000. Plus, the first 100 schools who registered for the competition will win a $50 Fremantle Press voucher.

Seven West Media Education manager Brad Kruger said: “The winning schools can use their cash prizes for classroom or whole-school resources, STEM clubs, incursions, excursions, teacher development or whatever schools needs to take their students’ STEM learning to the next level.”

You can help out your local school by dropping off Classroom Cash entry coupons to the school’s collection point.
