Juniors showing great development in early part of Katanning Netball Association season

Week four of the 2023 Katanning Netball Association season and everyone is feeling the competition rising.

Saturday kicked off with go juniors and juniors in the morning.

All juniors are extremely competitive already, with scores taking a mighty turn each week.

Netset had a mini game and and these youngsters have a great understanding of the game and are giving it their all each week.

Already we are seeing an increase of junior players bumping up into seniors’ competition.

Seniors was another round of full courts in play, whistles blowing and players and spectators everywhere.

There were eight games played with some close finishes.

In A/A-reserve grade, Broomehill and Cardinals Force clashed with Cardies going on to win their second game for this season with a healthy score of 44-31.

Kojonup 2 came home strong towards the end against Te Taitonga 1 but the latter were just that bit the wiser winning by a smidgen of two goals, 39-37.

Olympians 1 found their top game this week and scored a massive win, 95-20 against Allstars 2.

Allstars 1, however, didn’t let their game down and won smoothly over Kojonup 1 with a score of 51-33 while Dumbleyung 1 had the bye.

In B/C-grade there was a massive win for Kojonup.

Kojonup 3 had an impressive 40-21 win over Dumbleyung2 while Kojonup 4 got a win by forfeit against Cardinals Fever.

Allstars 3 continued their winning streak beating Olympians 3, 50-23 at the final whistle.

Olympians 2 started well and didn’t stop with a huge 60-29 win over Cardinals Phoenix while Te Taitonga 2 had the bye.
