Katanning Wanderers host GSCAWA awards to mark the end of a season “played in the spirit of the game”

The cream of the crop in the Great Southern Cricket Association was recognised at the annual GSCA awards ceremony at Sprigg Bar on Friday night. Players from all six GSCA sides made their way to the Wanderers’ home ground to celebrate a season “played in the spirit of the game”, according to association president Jedd Herbert. To mark the occasion, volunteers from the Wanderers Tigers put on a feast for all the players to enjoy. The ceremony was dominated by Tambellup’s premiership side, but players such as Australs’ Kris Norris and Wanderers’ Peter Robertson were acknowledged for their outstanding performances with Katanning clubs.
