Local performers are being sought to participate in the event, not only in the main parade but also as roaming entertainers throughout the festival.

Entertainers and small groups that represent the cultural diversity of the town of Katanning are encouraged to participate.

Successful applicants may also get the opportunity to perform on the festival main stage.

A highlight of the Katanning calendar, the Harmony Festival will kick off on March 24 with a food night in the town square.

While last year’s Saturday street parade was cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions, the 2023 festival will see the return of the feature event.

Would-be entertainers have until January 31 to apply.

Performers are encouraged to email applications to angela.george@katanning.wa.gov.au
