With Christmas just around the corner, Katanning's Christmas on Clive committee is bursting with excitement and this year's event is shaping up to be bigger than ever.

The fourth annual Christmas on Clive event will hit the main street of Katanning on December 12, with an abundance of entertainment and activities.

From street busking, a ferris wheel to bucking bull and live music, the celebration might even surprise visitors with a visit from Santa and his sleigh.

With a successful turnout at last year's event, committee member Bruce Clarke said he would be surprised if this year would not attract more.

"There are lots of things to see and do, it will be fantastic," he said.

"It is very family-orientated and I think this year is set to be bigger and better."

The event coincides with late night shopping for any Christmas needs and offers visitors the chance to win prizes including a selection of goods worth $10,000 through a Santa Sleigh raffle and a trip to Bali.

"It is a great event and the perfect time for everyone to celebrate Christmas," KRBA president Mel Dowling said.
