A mother and daughter have walked away with a division 1 winning Lotto ticket for last Saturday’s draw worth a cool $822,853 that was purchased at Katanning Lottery Centre.

Each week for the past 26 years the mother and daughter duo have purchased two lines of Lotto consisting of a line of odd numbers and a line of birthday numbers.

This time, their odd numbers came through. The mother said she was simply shocked when she realised she had a winning ticket.

“I check my tickets every Saturday evening and I originally thought we had five numbers, which has happened a few times before, but then I looked again and there were all six!”

“Our prayers have been answered; this prize will really set us up for life.”
