Netballers need volunteers

Katanning Netball Association is searching for a treasurer and secretary to ensure the club runs smoothly in the lead-up to the season in May.

The club will hold a meeting Wednesday night March 20 between 6.30pm and 8.30pm at the Katanning Leisure Centre.

Vice-president and division officer of the Katanning Netball Association Jenny Cristinelli said although volunteers have been hard to come by, she is optimistic the positions will be filled.

“We have a wealth of community support and I think it will happen,” she said.

“The meeting is open to the public and it would be great to see people step out of their comfort zones and get involved.”

There are three netball clubs in Katanning, the Olympians, Cardinals and All Stars.

Each team has members on the committee, on two-year rotations.
