Christmas Street Party a tree-mendous way to start the festive season

Christmas cheer has well-and-truly arrived in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, with the annual lighting of the Christmas tree marking the start of the festive season. Hosted by the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, the Christmas Street Party took over the Burt Street precinct on Sunday with craft activities, market stalls, and festive workshops. The main stage in Loopline Park featured non-stop entertainment, with performances by local musicians and dance troupes before Santa made a special appearance to entertain young event-goers. A large crowd gathered at the top of Boulder’s main street to witness the lighting of the Christmas tree before a spectacular fireworks display lit up the night sky.
