Saturday Lotto celebrates 45 years since launch with $20 million Superdraw
You’ve got to be in it to win it — and there’s a sweet $20 million up for grabs in Saturday’s Lotto Superdraw.
About 500 tickets a minute are expected to be sold across WA throughout the day as excitement builds for the draw, marking 45 years since Saturday Lotto launched.
Lotterywest spokeswoman Zoe Wender said her advice was to get your ticket early to avoid the queues.
“Saturday Lotto Superdraws have produced four division one wins so far this year, including a ticket worth $2.8 million that almost went through the washing machine,” she said.
“These winners have shared more than $8.7 million in prizes this year and we hope to add to that number following tonight’s event.
“How great would it be to wake up tomorrow morning with a division one win and book that holiday you’ve been dreaming of all winter.”
The WA community will benefit from each Superdraw ticket sold, with all available profits going back to local community groups in the form of grants.
So far in 2024, Saturday Lotto Superdraws alone have raised more than $12 million for Lotterywest’s grants program.
Lotterywest grants support organisations such as Wheatbelt & Beyond Youth Mentoring, who run a mentoring service across public schools in the Wheatbelt, supporting young people from regional towns to reach their potential and thrive.
Superdraw tickets are available until 6pm in-store, online and via the Lotterywest app.
