A building charity helped two of this year’s Little Telethon Stars make their homes more accessible and is now set to make six more kids dreams come true during the fundraising weekend.

The Build Now Foundation will be challenging themselves to build six cubbies in six hours at the Telethon Family Festival on October 20, with each cubby donated to a lucky nominated child.

The charity supports families in need through building projects including making homes more accessible for children with disabilities or just creating a fun space for a sick kid.

One of this year’s Little Telethon Stars Nazeem Fahmi, who lives with cerebral palsy, was the first ever build for the foundation, creating an accessible bathroom so his mum did not have to lift him into the shower every day.

The charity also helped little star Charlee Hosking’s cooking dreams come true this year by building a kitchen that fits her wheelchair as well as surprising her with My Kitchen Rules star Manu Feildel.

Build Now founder Stephen Mansfield said a group of 50 volunteers were now going to make Loren, Phoenix, Luca, Lyder, Gideon and Grayson’s dreams come true with a cubby build.

“We have teamed up with Telethon to give six amazing little heroes, who are all going through their own challenges, and we’re building them their own specific cubby house based on their passions and interests in life,” he said.

“We’ve got over 50 volunteers that are coming down on the day to be able to give a hand and build these things and try and smash out the goal within the six hour period.

“We’re building a frozen cubby, we’re building a boxing cubby, we’re building a barn house cubby so all different types of themes.”

He said it was an honour to be a part of Telethon as the charity was first inspired by the huge fundraiser.

“The Build Now Foundation was inspired by Telethon and watching how Telethon operates and how they help so many families across Western Australia,” he said.

“I think there is no greater feeling on the planet than giving back, and for me as as the founder of this, it is what gives me my greatest purpose and the drive to to be able to do this more and more to help as many kids as possible across WA.”

The Telethon Family Festival is on Sunday October 20 from 10am to 4pm.
