From flame throwers and merry-go-rounds to a petting zoo, the annual Kojonup Agricultural Show had something for everyone.

Held on Saturday, the heat did not stop the horde of visitors who arrived to enjoy a selection of rides, displays, food and entertainment, making it Kojonup's biggest show to date.

"Compared to other year's it was just huge," Kojonup Agricultural Society president Peta Zadow said.

"The Rotary guys at the gate were busy all day, especially mid-afternoon which is normally quiet."

Highlights of the show included a speed shearer's event that ran constantly, and an impressive selection of upgraded side show rides.

Ms Zadow said it was a huge amount of work, but with the help of the entire community the day ran smoothly.
