Palmyra crash: 89-year-old woman rushed to Royal Perth Hospital with critical injuries after being hit by car

An elderly woman has been rushed to hospital with critical injuries after she was hit by a car while at a bus stop in Palmyra. The collision occurred at 10.45am Friday at the intersection of Marmion and Justinian Streets. Police said the 89-year-old pedestrian was near the stop when the collision with a white Great Wall utility took place. Emergency services arrived quickly and transported the woman to Royal Perth Hospital. Police said the 63-year-old male driver of the vehicle is assisting police with their inquiries.
