There’s been plenty of change this off-season for the Perth Glory but there’s no doubt Josh Risdon has always looked better in purple as the club unveiled its new home kit for the upcoming season.

With new faces across the Glory’s men’s and women’s program following the departures of Alen Stajcic and Alex Epakis and a new owner on board, the club has also updated its kit as it launches into a new era.

However, it’s an old face that wears it best with former club captain Josh Risdon pictured back in purple for the first time since departing the Glory in 2017.

Purple dominates the kit but the diagonal multi-coloured stripes from last year have been replaced with vertical shadow weaves while a brighter orange now adorns the trim on the shirt, shorts and socks.

As has been a staple of recent Glory kits the club has also looked to make them eco-friendly made from 100 per cent certified Global Recycled Standard PET polyester.

The kits are now available for pre-order from the clubs website and will be on the pitch come the Glory’s first home game on October 26.
