Rawlings joins Fremantle

Fremantle have made a move this trade period but it’s a change in the background as Norwood premiership coach and former Richmond caretaker Jade Rawlings joins as an assistant.

He joins the team under coach Justin Longmuir after Boyd left the Dockers to return to Melbourne for family reasons, having been at the club for four years.

Off-field move

Brendon Bolton has gone to St Kilda from Collingwood joining Ross Lyon as an assistant coach.

The Saints have also welcomed former Melbourne and Geelong defender Jared Rivers as an assistant ahead of next season.

Rivers was a development coach and VFL coach at Collingwood between 2015 and 2019 before four seasons at Collegians Football Club in the VAFA.

More potential Carlton moves

Tom Morris is reporting the Bulldogs are interested in Carlton midfielder Matthew Kennedy. He’s out of contract next season and perhaps surplus to the Blues’ current midfielder.
