Centuries from Smriti Mandhana and Pratika Rawal have helped India register their highest ODI total en route to a record-breaking 304-run success over Ireland in Rajkot.

India captain Mandhana hit 135 off 80 deliveries, including 12 fours and seven sixes, during a first-wicket stand of 233, with fellow opener Rawal going on to make 154 off 129 balls on Wednesday as the hosts completed a 3-0 series whitewash.

The hosts, also aided by 59 from Richa Ghosh, posted a national record score of 5-435 from their 50 overs, emphatically surpassing the 5-370 they registered in Sunday's series-clinching second ODI.

Mandhana smashed the fastest ODI hundred by an Indian woman, reaching the mark in 70 balls, before eventually being caught by Ava Canning off the bowling of Orla Prendergast, who later claimed the wicket of Tejal Hasabnis for 28.

While opener Sarah Forbes made a creditable 41 before being run out as Ireland attempted to chase down the fourth highest total in this format of the women's game, captain Gaby Lewis was removed for just one and Christina Coulter Reilly was dismissed for a duck inside four overs.

All-rounder Prendergast offered some resistance with a knock of 36 off 43 deliveries but the tourists lost their final six wickets for just 31 runs and were all out for 131 with 18 overs remaining as India celebrated their biggest ODI win.
